Mr Haldane’s dismissal from Cambridge University has been widely discussed in science circles, especially in the light of Cambridge’s loss of a bril liant biochemical research worker. It is understood that Mr Haldane will exercise his right of appeal to a court of five judges elected by the Senate. This privilege has never hitherto been exercised.—A. and N.Z. Assn.
