The MirusterVsi Council has reached an agreement and M. D.oumer has been authorised to table hiis financial proposals in the chamber. —Reuter. PARIS, Dee. 29. The Ministerial crisis continues to. be most critical. Al. Doumer (Minister for Finance) failed to coni e to an agreement with M. Painleve and five other irreconcil.ables of the Radical group. The Premier (AI. Briand), however, states he will not resign if the six refuse to accept M. Doumer’s plans, but he will endeavour to replace them. He adds; “The present is not the moment to abdicate.”
