The Emperor fell and broke a leg. Whitmore Handicap. —Blonde 1, Bon Marche 2, Nine o’ Spades 3. All started. Won by three-quarters of a length a neck separating second and third. ’ Time, 1.27 2-5. Juvenile Handicap. —Kilperon 1, Standard 2, Alyson 3. Scratched: Avador.e. Won by a nose, three lengths separating second and third. r l ime, 1.2 2-5. . _ Liverpool Handicap.—Grand Knight 1, Tariadees 2, Imperial Spark 3. Scratched : White Oomet, Royal Diadem and Birthmark. King’s Plate. —Reremoana 1, Lady Ridicule 2, M.andane 3. All started. Won by two lengths, four lengths between second and third.
