The Foreign Office has been advised from Mukden that Chang’s son requested the Japanese Consul-General to order th e Consul at Hsin-min-fu to surrender tire civ i] rights of Juo and his wife to take refuge in the consulate. Though it is not officially confirmed, the Government has reason to believe that the head of Kuo’s wife has been exhibited publicly in Mukden, and that disgust lias been expressed at such barbarities.—Reuter.
