Wales team to play New Zealand in a match commencing on January 1 is as follows :• Phillips* W. Brown, Scanes. Morgan, R. Bardsley, Ratcliffe, Punch, Cummings, Campbell, Nicholls and Twee dale. It is the same as thatgiow playing against Queensland, with the exception of Campbell, who replaces Asher. TOWN v. COUNTRY., THE FORMER. MAKES 200. WELLINGTON, Dec. 29. The Town v. Country match was resumed to-day in fine weather and on a good wicket! Before the lunch adjournment. Town were all out for 209; Tatteusall 36, Henderson 38, McGirr 44, Radeoek 18, being the best scorers. Lambert took four wickets for 32 runs; Holland three for 61; Gallichan one for 25; Be mail one for 57; and G. Be nth none for 16.
