The delegation of nobles which was recently received at Beirut by M, De Jouvenel, French High Commissio-ner, is dissatisfied with the pregrese of negotiations. Apparently At has been so far found impossible to reach ’accord) in regard to Syria making over territory annexed by Lebanon in 1920. and granting an amnesty to the rebel leaders. The Druse delegation, headed by the Emir, Eminarslan, which recently visited iSueida to discuss the question of .peace, apparently failed in its mit>son.—'Reuter.
