THE CHRISTMAS ROUND HEAVY TOTALISATOR INVESTMENTS On Saturday (Boxing Day) the opening day of the. 1925-6 holiday racing carnival, at eleven meetings held in various parts of both Islands, just on three hundred andl fifty thousand pounds—considerably over a third of a million of money—passed through the tota.l3sat.dr. The increase over the total for last Boxing Day exceeded fifty thousand pounds. Saturday’s racing was, for the most part, favoured with real summer conditions.
