AMENDED MEASURE REDUCES REVENUE. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT. Received Dec. 24, 1.30 p.m. MELBOURNE, Dec. 24. The new Taxation Bill, which was introduced as an alternative to the resignation of the Government, is estimated to yield £143,500. BUILDING IN SYDNEY. SYDNEY, Dec. 24. A return issued by the Water Board shows, that- during ,*the [year 10,939 new buildings were completed and connected with water in the city and suburbs, compared with 12,190 in the previous year, which was the highest yet recorded. The buildings in 1925 cost £11,587,149, compared with £14,358,071 in 1924.
