HANDICAPS DE&LARED
Splendid entries have been received for the Hawera Amateur AthleticClub’s programme for the meeting to be held in the Showgrounds to-morrow evening, commencing, at 7 o’clock sharp. There are over 20 cyclists competing, and 50 runnjprs and fieldsmen. Very keen interest amongst the competitors is centred on the points prizes, which can be won outright, to-morrow night in the three respective classes, i.e., running, walking and hurdling, cycling and field events. Also' points gained in to-morrow’s programme all count towards the winning of the club annual challenge cups and gold medals. The order of events is notified by advertisement on page one.
