TREK TO CANBERRA.
PARLIAMENT BY JUNE 1. HUGE PROBLEM. MELBOURNE, Dec. 2. While no definite date has been fixed for the meeting of the Federal Parliament at Canberra, it is known that the Canberra Commission is enedavouring to complete the x novisional Parliament House by June 1, in addition to the secretariat bui'ding, which, with ths house nucleus of the several Government departments, ,is nearing completion. The secretariat building No. 2 is well under construction, and good progress is being made with the building of 120 villas .for the first contingent of public servants. Approximately 2000 officials will be removed to Canberra within thre e years. These officials, with their waves and families, even in three contingents, comprise a very large army to be moved bv rail and motor transport. There will be also many tons of Government departmental files, libraries and furniture.
