TARANAKI LAND BOARD.
AIONTHLY MEETING. At the ordinary meeting of the Taranaki Land Board on Wednesday and Thursday there were present: Messrs. J. Cook (chairman), C. J. Evan, N. R. Clcland, and J. W. H. Martin.- Leave of absence was granted to Air. S. Blake. The application by Air. P. A. L. Rolfe for the fee simple of sections 2 and .3, block VII., Ngatiinaru, was approved. - ■ - - • ; Among the applications to transfer approved were the following:—-Section (>, block VII.; Tvaupolvonui, Public Trustee to A. H. Yeatman; section 4, block VI., Kaupokonui, AI. P. and J. F. Gordon to J. Sullivan. The application to 'transfer section 18, block V., Ngatiinaru, from A. Hunter to' C. E. Ammon and J. AlcBride, was refused. The application by the Taranaki' Electric Power Board for a transformer: station site in block 11., Ngaere, was deferred for further consideration. Thirty-one applications, under the Discharged Soldiers’ Settlement Act wore before the meeting, and of these four applications to transfer were recommended and . two refused. ; Four applications for stock and improvement advances were recommended.
