HAWKE CUP. EIETAINEID BY NEILSON. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NELSON, Dec. 14. Nelson retained the Hawke Oup against the challenge of Marlborough by an iimiixgis and 296 runs. Nelson in its innings put up 462. Leaping Marlborough 343 in .arrears. At the luncheon adjournment the visitors had lost -three wickets, for 13 runs. Alibe r lunch the ten m was all dispose-;! of for 50 runs, Pea.rpoint (14) being the only double figure scorer. Lines took seven wickets for 32 rums, Newman two for 10, and Searle one for none.
