MARRIAGE PROBLEMS.
WOMEN WANT TO KNOW. PS YOHO-ANALYST’S AD I VIDE. LONDON, Dec. 1. Thousands of people are attending meetings in Berlin, which Dr. Hirschfcld, a psycho-analyst, lias inaugurated to discuss marriage problems. A woman asked why, although happily married, .she hankered for another husband? Dr. Hirschfekl: It is merely the primeval sex impulse, and is not connected with love. Your happy marriage is an example of the present honourable era. Replying, to a young woman, he declared that trial marriages would result in. social. evils without counterbalancing advantages. Marriage should not be invested with romance. Love, being chemical-physical, was the domain of the scientist and not of the popular novelist.
