RYKOFF’S DENUNCIATION.
RUSSIA WILL NOT JOIN. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT (Received Dee. 11, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 10. The Riga correspondent of the Times reports that Rykoff has denounced the League of Nations as an instrument of war and oppression. He declared that by joining the League the Soviet would surrender all its political advantages in the East and its economic prospects in the West. Since the; signing of the Locarno pact only two European nations, namely England and Soviet Russia, retained their political independ enee„ The Soviet intends to retain her' intact. —Times.
