ASSEMBLY AND COUNCIL. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. (Received Dec. 2, 1.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 2. The New South Wales Assembly has accepted the Legislative Council’s amendments in the Forty-four Hour Bill. This is the first contentious measure in which the House has shown a tendency to compromise with the Council.
