OPERA HOUSE —TO-NIGHT. “WOMEN WHO GIVE.” It is said that no more thrilling, exciting and dramatic picture has been offered here this season than “Women Who Give,” which will he seen at the Opera House to-night. It boasts a truly all-star cast. The story is tensely dramatic, so much so that a bit of comedy relief has been injected into the plot by means of roles played by Joan Standing and Victor Potel. SCHOOL CONCERT. The programme for the Hawera school concert in the Opera House tomorrow night is published in to-day’s Star. It is a good many years since the public has had a chance of seeing the school children perform. A very interesting musical and dancing programme has been arranged. Every item is costumed and the colourings make a spectacular stage setting. The box plans for both nights are filling rapidly at Mrs. Cook’s, and intending patrons should make sure of a seat now. ' .
