The annual meeting of the Old Girls* Association of the Hawera Technical High School was held last evening, Miss G. Sage presiding. The annual report stated, inter alia, that two dances had been held during the year, one being the third annual reunion ball. The association had do- > nated a silver cup for a girls’ sports championship and 30s towards the . school improvement fund. The report was adopted. The election of officers was as follows : President, Miss G. Sage; secretary and treasurer, Miss O. Tait; school repi’esentative, Miss G. Herbert; committee, Misses A. Old, J. "Wilson and E. Sage. Other officers are yet to be elected.
