X-RAY DEATHS.

DOCTOR. SENT TO GAOL. Two women were burned to death several weeks ago at Dresden Hospital for Women while being treated by the X-rays specialist, Dr. Porter, and his assistant, Fraulein Schmidt. After three days’ deliberations the court sentenced Dr. Porter to 20 months’ imprisonment for carelessness, and Frau’ein Schmidt to five months. Professor Lahm, director of the Xrays station, was acquitted.
