A moving memorial service for the victims of the lost submarine M 1 v,»s held at dawn on the spot where the submarine submerged for the .last time aboard H.M.S. Mai destone,.which was accompanying Ml when it disappeaie Eight submarines, two destroyers and two mine sweepers participated in the ceremony. Flags were hoisted nalrma st, the burial service was read, the hvran “Eternal Father” and the National Anthem” were sung, three voileys were fire-d and u Lasi> -t-ost sounded. Wreaths were also dropped into the sea. The German divers sent a wireless message, sincerely wishing to join in spirit in the service.—Reuter. .
