Theodore’s position is steadily dropping. The polling of informal votes Avas heavy. To date in the House of Representatives election there are 18,058 informal A'otes and in the Senate 58,200. Nearly 80,000 A'otes are yet to he counted. Throughout the Commonwealth the position of Ministerialists improves with the counting of the votes. Of four previously doubtful seats tAvo have noAA r gone to the Nationalists and one to Labour, leaving one still doubtful; it Avill probaby go to Labour. The Nationalists have made a clean sAA’eep of the Senate. The state of partis in that Chamber will be: Nationalists 24 Labour 12
