Consequent upon the alteration of the railway time-table, the north mail (Hawera-New .Plymouth), now closing at 11.30, will in future close at noon. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19. For Great Britain, Ireland, Continent of Europe (specially addressed correspondence only); also Argentine and Teneriffe (per Matakana from Wellington), at 3.30 p.m. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23. For Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, United States of America, Mexico, West Indies; also Fuji, Hawaiian Islands and Japan (per Niagara from Auckland), via Vancouver, at 9.80 a.m. Money-orders close Friday, November 20, at 4 p.m. Mails which left Wellington on October 13, via San Francisco, arrived at London on November 9.
