Gd, found in the bed-clothes after the death of a- patient in the Hawera Hospital, the Hospital Board recently decided to hand the sum to the clerk of the court, so that in the event of litigation the money 'could be handed over in accordance with the court’s decision. At the board’s meeting today, however, it was found that the clerk of the court could not hold the money as no claim had been filed. Tim board therefore decided to hold the money in trust.
