THE TRIPS TO MOSCOW. -j PRODUCTION OF RECEIPTS. . LONDON, Nov. 7. Receipts found at the Communist headquarters were produced at Bow Street Police Coxirt at the hearing of the charges against A. Inkpin, general secretary of the Communist Party of 'Great Britain, and 11 others, on charges of sedition and conspiracy. They included receipts for £25 paid to McManus for special recruiting, £l2 10s for “balance of expenses to Moscow,” signed “Gallacher,” £3 for “special expenses,” £7 “for fortnight's salary,” signed “Haunington,” £25 grant to Young Communists' League’,” signed “Rust,” £2O for “expenses to Moscow,'’ signed “Bell,” and £IOO for the “publications committee,” signed “Inkpin.” A letter from the firm printing the Workers’ Weekly was found, which requested tho deletion of a cartoon, because the printers’ solicitors advised that it was seditious. Inkpin replied that the solicitors’ fears were groundless; nevertheless tho cartoon was omitted.
