BACK IN NEW ZEALAND AGAIN. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION./ AUCKLAND, Nov. 9. The Hon. William Pern her Reeves, who returned by the Niagara to-day alter an absence of MO years expressed his keen delight at being back nome and of the evidences ol progress of the city. He does not consider the outlook for Liberalism in Britain is bright; itsSdeadership lacks popularity and its policy lacks definiteness. Many leadeis are chiefly occupied in denouncing Socialism, and the people say that it mmht as well leave that for the Conservatives. At last election many arch Liberals voted with Mr Baldwin to keep Labour out at all costs, while considerable nmnber ß of younger and. poorer Liberals have gone out to Labour. Mr Reeves will remain in the ominion for five months, going to Dunedin for the exhibition, opening in a day or two.
