DIED PROM EXPOSURE. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) BLENHEIM, Nov. 9. An old man named Eldward Rees, or (Reece) was found dead on a hillside about a mile from Ward. Appearances point to death having been caused by exposure. ' A SERIOUS ALLEGATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 9. Myrtle Veronica Thompson, aged nineteen, died at the hospital yesterday. She gave evidence on Saturday before a magistrate that an illegal operation had been formed in a house at Linwood by Amy Glenn, a young married woman. Glenn is now under arrest. The charge' against her will probably be increased to manslaughter. The police are also making inquiries in the case of another young woman who died at the hospital on Saturday night.
