ANOTHER ELECTION SOON. PRIME MINISTER TO CARRY ON. WITH AID OF PROGRESSIVES. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT

Received Nov. 6~, 1.10 p.m. OTTAWA, Nov. 5. Opinions regarding the decision of the Prime Minister, Mr. McKenzie King, to hang on to power vary according to political views, the Liberals claiming that no other course is open, while the Conservatives assert that Mr Meighen should have been asked to form a Government, as he is the leader of the largest individual party. But all sides agree that there will be another election within a few months, and until then the country will remain in a disturbed condition politically. Parliament will most likely he called together early in January, when the country will undoubtedly witness a spectacle of twenty-three Progressives ruling the entire Dominion by virtue of the fact that their^ support is necessary to ensure Mr. King’s majority.
