CHAMPION SHIP RESULTS. (BY TELEGBAPH —PBESS ASSOCIATION.) PALMERSTON N., Nov. 5. The fortieth Manawatu spring show was continued to-day, when there was a large attendance. The sheep and cattle entries we’re affected by the Royal Show at Christchurch, giving rise to the expression of opinion already voiced at Hastings and Carterton, that the Royal Show should precede the district displays. The, championship awards are as follow.: Lincoln (in wool), champion, ram, A. E. Anderson (Clareville); reserve chain, pion, W. Howard Booth: champion ewes, P. Bremer (Okaiawa). Shropshire Down (in wool), all championships, Sir James Wilson (Bulls). . Southdown (in wool), champion ram, H. Burrell and Sons (Feilding); reserve champion, same exhibitor: chain, pion ewe, James Knight (Feilding); reserve, H. Burrell and Sons. Southdown (in wool and natural condition), champion ram, R.
