HEAD HUNTERS OF U.S.A.

GHOULISH CRIME

NEW YORK, Oct. 19

•A gruesome discovery was made by three horsemen in a gloomy Pennsylvanian forest.

They left the town of Newcastle late in the afternoon, and reached the wood in the twilight. As they walked their horses up a steep hill, they saw, silhouetted against the sky, two dark forms suspended from a high tree. On arriving at the' .summit, they were horrified to see that the forms were those of dead men.

The corpses were hanging by ropes which had been passed under the armpits—but the heads of both were missing.

Police are searching all over the United States for the murderers
