A boy riding a bicycle-collided with a motor cyclist in High . Street yesterday afternoon. .. The, boy rode across the .street in front of- the motor machine, which struck the rear, wheel of the cycle. Both riders were thrown down, but fortunately without sustaining much injury. The latest development of service motor runs on this coast enables a traveller to leave Hawera at 7.30. a.m. and reach Wellington at a quarter to four in the afternoon, the through fare being 35s The return journey may be made by leaving Wellington at 7.45, arriving in Hawera at 4 p.m. A valuable consignment of draught horses, the property of the Moore Hunter estate, went south from Haivera by the mid-day train to-day, bound for the Manaivatu show.
