NOT A SECRET
MELBOURNE FASCISTS.
PLAN OF ORGANISERS. DIRECTED AGAINST EXTREMISTS. 8Y CABLE—PBESS ASSOCIi TION—COPYRIGHT MELBOURNE, Nov. 2. Captain J. O. Hatcher, inspector of seamen at the mercantile marine office, states that there never has been since its formation any secrecy about the Victorian branch of British Faseisti. He said the movement was not aimed against constitutional authority, but in favour of peace, quietness, God mid country. The movement was non-poli-tical and non-sectarian, and was directed against nobody but extreme Communists and red raggers. The Federal Premier (Mr S. M. Bruce), in a statement, said he knows of no Faseisti in Australia. The Government entirely dissociated itself from any private or independent movement to maintain law and order in the community.
