The political issue which the electors of New Zealand will face to-morrow is sufficiently clear to require no further emphasis. The country’s need is a. strong and 1 settled Government. To secure that the electors must give one political party a definite majority. Unless it ho Labour, the, only party capable of mustering a majority in the new Parliament is that led by Mr Coates. To put Air Coates in power may mean voting against many estimable gentlemen; hut the call of the country’s need ringsi loud and clear above all personal considerations. No voter calling his soul liis own will put party before men; hut when honour will allow it, every patriot puts his country first, and is proud of the choice,. To-morrow patriots will have their opportunity.
