Dr. Uage said that in his • opinion death was due to suffocation, the baby having evidently been smothered. A verdict of accidental death’' was' returned. At the committee meeting of the Egmrint A. and P. Association to-day, advice was received from the Education Board that it would approve of committees granting a holiday to allow pupils to visit the show on the second day. The president said this was very satisfactory, as it was the first occasion on which this had been allowed. Reports from Bahrein state that during the cyclones thirty-two divers were drowned, and thirty-five boats are not accounted for. The town was not damaged. Casualties to boats belonging to other ports are estimated' at fifty (says a Press message from Delhi). A special committee meeting of the Egmont A. and P. Association to-day confirmed the sale of the back part of the section in Nelson St., behind the offices, -to Messrs Newton King Ltd. The president (Mr S. C. Tonks) said he considered the amount offered was very good, and they could not do better than accept it. /
