ELTHAM COMPETITIONS. Matches were played for the pins and ferns on the Eltham green on Thursday. For the pins, Carroll, Judd, Rowe and Tiplady beat Best, Bootten, Stanners and McKay; Pnillips, McQuin, Fountaine and Stewart drew with Glower, Pennington, Casey and Ashbury. For the ferns, Harrison and Halpin beat Carman and Egan; Lind, Bary and Drayton heat Peppered, Biggs and Murray.
