RECORD-FOR. SCHNEIDER CUP BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION'-COPYRIGHT. NEW YORK, Oct. 26. Lieut. Doolittle, of the U.S. Army, won the Schneider Cup. D’oolittle’s time worked out at 232.573 miles per hour, establishing a new Schneider Cup record. Captain Broad did 199.169 miles per hour. Three other ’planes entered, but were forced down in Chesapeake Bay during the race and towed ashore.
