INAHA.
(From Our Own Correspondent). Mr C. Griffen left here on Monday morning for Gisborne, where he is representing the Hawera Amateur Ath.etic Club in the 50-mile cycle road race. The district hopes he will bring the trophy back with him. Messrs D. Price and F. Hickey, of the factory staff, left on Monday to join the crew of the s.s. Dorset. As a result of the mild weather of the past week the milk supply is going up rapidly. The factory is turning out 107 cheeses a day now, and it wont be long before they reach last year’s flush. The tests for the second period of this month range from 3.3 to 4.6. which is a few points below last period.
