SUPREME COURT AT WELLINGTON.

WELLINGTON, Oct. 23

At the Supreme Court this morning the following prisoners were sentenced: Alexander Carter, guilty of carnal knowledge, was admitted to two years’ probation, the costs of the prosecution to be paid within nine months; Frank Blackham, guilty of breaking, entering and theft, was given six months’ imprisonment; Joseph Charles Robertson, on seven charges of breaking, entering and theft, being a rogue and vagabond, and having in his possession a set of skeleton keys, was sentenced to two vears’ hard labour and ordered to be declared an habitual criminal. Jack Wahington Swiny, for arson, was ordered nine months’ reformative deten. tion.
