WARNING. Letters containing- articles liabiS to Customs Duty CANNOT be sent to Great Britain and certain other countries. Those countries to letters may be sent containing articles liable to Customs duty MUST have a Customs Docket affixed to each letter. Newspapers, Book Packets, Pattern or Sample Packets will not be forwarded to overseas countries unless FULL POSTAGE is affixed. Africa, and the East, per Tahiti (from Wellington), at 9.30 a.m. INCOMING OVERSEA MAILS. Tahiti left San Francisco for Wellington on October 7. She carries mails from Great Britain and America. A delivery of postmen ’s letters will be made over the counter between 7 and 8 p.m. MONDAY, OCTOBER 26. Post Office closed in all branches. All mails close at 7.1& a.m. Receiving boxes cleared at 6 a.m. No postmen’s delivery will be made. Telegraph Office Hours: 9 to 10 a.m., and 7 to 8 p.m. Telegrams to be presented upstairs.
