PEDIGREE JERSEYS.

SALE AT HAWERA. The sale of pedigree Jersey cattle, held by the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Messrs R. P. Morrissey and Co., under the auspices of the Hawera Jersey Club, at the Loan Co.’s yards on Tuesday, was satisfactory and generally speaking prices of those sold were up to expectations. There was a fair number of buyers present from niany parts of the district, and the sale was carried through with expedition. Mr R. Morrissey wielded the hammer throughout the sale.
