THE AUCKLAND MEETING. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, Oct. 21. The Auckland Trotting Club’s spring nice ting concluded at Alexandra I? ark to-day. A strong wind was dn evidence, but otherwise the weather was fine, and there was a large attendance. The totalisator handled £52,255, giving a grand total ol £111,846 for the meeting, compared with £99,911 last year, au increase of £11,935. Results: Greenlane Trot, 14 miles. —3 Don Zolock (J. Bryce junr.) 1, 1 Young Carbine 2,2 Peter MacDonald 3. Also started: 7 Royal Boh, 4 Catclilite, 5 Colonel Thorpe, 8 Lady Stepney, 6 Elsa. Nore. Won 'by a head, three lengths between second and third. Time 3.47. Newmarket Handicap, 14 miles.—l Pattie Alto and 3 Mars dead heat 1, Anizoram 3. Also started: Ekoeraned, Castle Chimes, Single Mint, Cora. Tacks, Moko Chief, Moko Pete, Grattan Thorpe, Uncle Bert, Dillon Huon, Tannhauser, Ursuliue, Gambler’s Gold, Admiral Hood, Pearl Fisher, Bawldy Locanda, Kingsclere. A dead-heat, the third horse a length and a half away. Uncle Bert was fourth. Time, 9.32'. Alexandra Handicap, two miles. —1 Imprint (Berkett) 1,2 Talaro 2, 5 Goldman 3. Also started: 6 Countryman, 7 Harold Burwood, 4 Hypo, 8 Dean Dillon, 3 Kohara. Won by /a length and a quarter, three lengths between second and third. Dean Dillon was fourth. Countryman was left at the post. 'Time, 4.28 3-5. Remuera Handicap, two miles.—3 Haricot (Julian) I, 7 Ngatira- 2, 3 Betty Moko 3. Also started: 4 Floraline, 5 Some Jazz, 8 Bluewood, 2 Bicolour, 6 Tod Chimes, 5 , Daphne Wildwood. Won by two and a half lengths, four lengths' between second and third. Time. 4.41 1-5. Daphne Wildwood was fourth. Bicolour fell five furlongs from home, and Some Jazz, colliding, ; was thrown.
Manukau Handicap, lj miles. Hue Coronado (August) 1, 6 All Bell 2,2 Hypo 3. Also started: 7 Sal Pointer, 3 Florrie Bingen, 4 Royal Chance, 1 Talaro and Willie Logan (bracketed), Harold Burwood, Lady Joan. Won by a. length and a half, half a length between second ,and third. Florrie Bingen was fourth. Time, 3.46 1-5.
Junction Handicap, two miles. Oakhampton (McMillan) 1, 1 Hugliie Wallace 2,2 Tranquil 3. Also started': 5 Rua. Pere. Zolock Palm (bracketed with Tranquil), 9 Wallroon and Nelson McCormack, 11 Temple, 6 Heather Girl, 7 Bawldy Locanda, 4 Padlock, 12 Black Lila, 10 Glandore, 8 Reliance. Won by one and a half lengths, two lengths between second and third. Heather Girl was fourth. Time. 4.33 2-5.
