A strong wind was dn evidence, but otherwise the weather was fine, and there was a large attendance. The totalisator handled £52,255, giving a grand total ol £111,846 for the meeting, compared with £99,911 last year, au increase of £11,935. Results: Greenlane Trot, 14 miles. —3 Don Zolock (J. Bryce junr.) 1, 1 Young Carbine 2,2 Peter MacDonald 3. Also started: 7 Royal Boh, 4 Catclilite, 5 Colonel Thorpe, 8 Lady Stepney, 6 Elsa. Nore. Won 'by a head, three lengths between second and third. Time 3.47. Newmarket Handicap, 14 miles.—l Pattie Alto and 3 Mars dead heat 1, Anizoram 3. Also started: Ekoeraned, Castle Chimes, Single Mint, Cora.
