Extensive Planting Operations BY N.Z. Perpetual Forests, Ltd. BOND Holders and others interested in N.Z. Perpetual Forests Ltd. will appreciate the progress which' has been made iif planting operations. A total of 9700 acres has been planted' with Pinus Insignis, Other pioneer companies have also planted extensively. Afforestation Ltd. has planted 2000 acres, while Putaruru.Forests Ltd. has also completed 1000 seres, and now negotiations have been made iby N.Z. Perpetual Forests Ltd. whereby 35,000 acres will be planted in the next planting season. All these companies are in the Smith, Wylie group. , An excellent series of views illustrating the work was published in the Auckland Weekly News (1/10/25). Every phase of the planting operations is depicted.. The extensive panoramic views of nurseries and planted areas define clearly the magnitude of' the work already aeeompliflhed. Bond Holders in N.Z. Perpetual Forests Ltd. arrangements have been made with The Australian Forestry Bondholders’ Trust Company Ltd. This company will have unusual supervisory powersin tlie administration. , The Bond Holders, have complete control of the Trust Company and the Forestry Company has no right to the appointment or removal of the Trustee Directors. Prior to the formation of the Trust Company, the Bond Holders’ interests were safeguarded by individual Trustees. The security of the Trust Company, and the definite assurance ot the performance, of all contracts, stamps N.Z. Perpetual Forests Ltd. with the hall mark of a genuine investment. ' r • The success of N.Z. Perpetual Forests Ltd. is well deserved, for it is -performing a great national work of patriotic as well as profit value, and the favourable remarks of recent distinguished visitors,, such as Viscount Burnham, leader of the Empire Press Delegation, and also the Hon. Crawford Vaughan, ex-Premier of South Australia, are essentially an accolade which few people can ignore.
