In the U.S.A. under Prohibition the Government Accounts show a reduction of £685,000,000 of National Debt in four years, a reduction of £416,200,000 in expenditure of running the country, and a Treasury surplus of £50,000,000 in 1925:—with Taxation to be reduced a further £60,000,000 this year.
