QUEEN CARNIVAL.

CAMPAIGN NOTES

O'hangai residents are reminded of the concert and dance to be held this evening for the Country candidate, and a pleasant eevning is assured. Sports concert party will make its second visit to Alton to-night by special request. As the Alton _ people have already made the acquaintance of the- party, and an even better programme has been arranged for this concert, it is anticipated that a full house will greet the visitors. As this will probably be the last occasion on which this carnival concert party will be in Alton, the local sports are expected to rally round the green platform.
