BtLTTEIR ATTACK ON GOVERNMENT. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) HAMILTON, Oct. 19. At Pukemiro, the Hon. Mr. Bollard was bitterly attacked by the local secretary of the Miners’ Union, who, after the candidate's address, moved “that we have no confidence in the blank Tory Government and Mr Bollard as member.” . Warming up, he asked “who could vote for the Government? It is murdering thousands and "millions of men, women and children. 'To hell with them! I would shoot them and him.” After some turmoil, the motion of lack of confidence in the Government and member was declared carried.

Mr. Bollard: “I thank you for listening to the address. As for the motion passed, it is just what is expected from such hitter opponents of the Government, which believes in free speech, liberty, law and order.. The meeting, with the exception of three or four women, was composed exclusively of miners.
