Entries were on the small side at Addington to-day, and there was a good sound sale, though fat cattle failed to hold last week’s rates. Store Sheep.—A rather small entry, comprising mostly ewes and lambs. 'Hiere was very ‘little change in the market from last week. Spring Lamb. —Thirty-seven of these averaged from 33s to 445. 9d. Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers, 57s 6d to 60s; prime, 47s to 53s 6d; medium, 43s 6d tio 48s 6d; light, 39s lOd to 435; extra prime ewes, to 46s 4d ; prime. 40s (kl to 445; medium, 37s to 40s ; light, 34s lOd to 36s 9cl; prime shorn wethers, 34s Id to 3os 6d ; pririie hoggets,' to 42s 4d. BURNSIDE QUOTATIONS. DUNEDIN, Oct. 14. There was another good sale, from the vendors’ point of view, at- Burnside to-day. Beef.—Extra prime bullocks brought £29 10s to £3l 10s, prime bullocks £23 to £26 10s, light prime £l7 to £lB 10s, extra prime heifers £lB to £2O 2s 6d, prime heifers £l4 10s to £l6 ss, lighter heifers £9 10s to £l2, extra prime cows £l3 10s to £l6 10s, lighter cows £ll 5s to £l2. Fat Sheep.—Extra prime heavy wethers made up to 605," prime heavy 49s to 535, prime 42s to 46s 6d, prime heavv ewes 41s to 44s 9d, prime 37s 6d to 39s 6d. Fat Lambs.—Ten spring lambs were penned of good average quality. Prices were well up to those of last week, ranging from 36s to 48s 6d. Prices per pound were from Is 4d to Is 6d. CALCUTTA TEA SALES. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. DELHI, Oct, 13. At the Calcutta, tea sales there was a better selection *and improved quality. There was a good general demand for all better qualities.
