QUEEN CARNIVAL.

CAMPAIGN NOTES. The first flannel dance of tips season will be held on Tuesday next in the Savoy Tea Rooms in aid of the Sports candidate under the auspices of the Hawera Amateur Athletic Club. This dance is certain to prove very popular, as the club is making strenuous efforts to eclipse all previous records. The public are reminded that the Country shop will be located next to Poison’s to-morrow (Saturday)), and a good stock of goods will be on hand. The Country candidate committee will hold a penny trail on Saturday, The Country committee is holding a social and dance at Matapu to-night, and arrangements have been made for several concert items, including the 12 little tots in their dance.
