ELECTORAL ROLL.

CLOSED YESTERDAY. The .supplementary electoral roll for the Patea district closed last evening at six o’clock. It and: the main roll together now contain 8804 names. When the roll closed prior the election in L 022. .the inuimbeir stood at 8,398. The increase of 406 is probably mainly due to the compulsory enrolment, although increase in population may aecoiinh for the increase to a slight extent.. The Egmont electoral roll .now contains 7,800 names, which is an increase of 354 over the 1922 figures.
