QUEEN CARNIVAL.

CAMPAIGN NOTES. Okaiawa residents are reminded that the grand band social and dance will be held to-night. Besides items by the Hawera. Municipal Band, a very fine programme lias been arranged, including songs and dances by a company of twelve little tots, items ~by the ladies’ band, and special dances by Misses Mona and Gladys Lay. A dance will follow, and first-class music will be provided. The 001111117 candidate’s committee should show a good result, for great efforts are being made to ensure a very successful function.
