QUEEN JOINS IN. LONDON, Oct. 1. In accordance with tradition, no modern dances were included in the programme for the Chillies’ Ball, which then- Majesties gave to theghillies, servants and tenants at Balmoral Castle. The Queen partnered the King’s Piper in the opening reel, and also danced waltzes, Strathspeys, and in other numbers.
