TO BE ABOLISHED IN N.S.W. PROPOSED INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. SYDNEY, Oct. 8. In the Assembly Mr. Baddeley introduced the Arbitration Act Amendment Bill, which provides for the abolition of the Arbitration Court and Board of Trade, an industrial commission being appointed in their place. The commission will consist of a chairman, appointed by the Government, and members appointed by the employers and employees. Conciliation committees will also be appointed for each industry. The Bill provides for absolute preference to unionists The Commission will fix the living wage twice yearly.
