DAMAGE ESTIMATED AT £25,000. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. (Received Oct. 7, 1.10 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Oct. 7. An explosion and a fire occurred in connection with a 7000 horse-power electric motor at the power-house of the Melbourne Electric Company at Richmond. The damage amounts to £25,000.
